The Wine

Country of origin:

France

Region:

Occitanie

This is a grape combination that was on the rise a few years ago, but fell away and never quite made it to the heights of popularity expected. We're always looking to get wines into bottle in engaging styles that we know that our customers love, and this blend of Chardonnay and Viognier is intriguing and elegant. Combining green apple freshness and a tropical lift with rich peach and ripe apricot.

The Winemaker

Olivier Baron
Winemaker:

Olivier Baron

With over 30 years of experience and growing up here, winemaker Olivier Baron knows the vineyards in the beautiful region of Limoux, located at the foothills of the Audoise Pyrenees, like the back of his hand. The diversities of climates, soils, and grape varieties allow him to select the finest plots in order to vinify them and express the aromatic richness and the typicity of each grape variety with the utmost care to reveal the richness of our terroir.

"The aroma has nice ripe peach overlaid with fresh green apple which sets up the palate perfectly, showcasing wonderfully ripe fruit, plump roundness and a wine full of character." - Olivier Baron, Winemaker.
