Kir Yianni has crafted something special with this dry rosé, showcasing the crisp, juicy charm that the Greek red grape Xinomavro brings to the glass. Grown on a 600m-high plateau, these mountain-kissed grapes ripen perfectly, delivering vibrant strawberry, red forest fruits and a hint of tomato. Bright acidity keeps it refreshingly zippy, while subtle herbal notes linger on the finish. A must-have for any rosé lover's collection!
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Stellios Boutaris
Stellios Boutaris is a fifth generation winemaker and has run the Kir-Yianni family winery since 2002. His greatest ambition is to bring Greek wine to a global audience, highlighting the unique character of the indigenous Greek varieties, such as Xinomavro and Assyrtiko. He has managed to make Kir-Yianni one of Greece's most respected wine brands, with a philosophy centred around the desire for innovation, respect for tradition and true knowledge of the wine, from grape to bottle.
"We've put in the work to preserve the vibrant crispness that Xinomavro brings to blends. By carefully selecting grapes from high-altitude vineyards at just the right moment, we've captured the bright, ripe strawberry and forest fruit flavours that make this grape so special." - Stellios Boutaris, Winemaker.
