The attractively pale pink rosé style has become incredibly fashionable and for good reason. The Vinteiro rosé is very much in this mould but with a slightly more intriguing spin. Led by the Touriga Nacional grape variety and supported by Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca, the fruit profile is a very pleasant surprise with cherries, blueberries and fresh raspberries wrapped up in the scent of meadow flowers, delivered on the palate with a refreshing minerality from the stony Douro soils.

Meticulous vineyard management and creative winemaking are fully covered here by the two Joãos. Their mastery of the native grape varieties is second to none and never fails to show in the glass.
