Angelos Iatridis
Angelos Iatridis is one of Greece's most respected oenologists, known for his precision, vision, and unwavering commitment to quality. After studying oenology in Bordeaux and gaining experience across renowned French wine regions, Angelos returned to Greece with a mission: to craft world-class wines that express the country's diverse terroirs. In 1997, he co-founded Alpha Estate in Amyndeon with viticulturist Makis Mavridis. Together, they identified this high-altitude, cool-climate region as one of the most promising in Greece. Angelos brings a meticulous, hands-on approach to winemaking, focusing on sustainable practices, vineyard expression, and technical excellence. His wines are celebrated for their purity, balance, and age-worthiness - hallmarks of his thoughtful, terroir-driven style.
