Omilos, meaning 'the collective', celebrates the community behind every bottle. This red is the result of a new and exciting partnership with renowned Greek Winemaker Leonidas Nassiakos. Working with a selection of both international and indigenous varieties gives us the flexibility to blend wines that are packed with traditional characters and abound with the bright fruit-forwardness we know you'll fall in love with. The result is a juicy red bursting with notes of red cherry, raspberry leaf and a lick of green pepper.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Leonidas Nassiakos
Leonidas, a third-generation winemaker, studied oenology at Patras University in Greece. He became chief winemaker at Chateau Semeli in 2000, while also crafting wines with his father at the family estate. Over the years, he has earned a reputation as the 'King of Moschofilero' in Greece. Today, he collaborates with George Kintonis at Kintonis Winery, producing exceptional wines from both indigenous Greek and international grape varieties.
"The versatile Agiorgitiko - or else Hercules' blood - meets juicy Syrah and complex Merlot, originated from the high elevation vineyards of Peloponnese." - Leonidas Nassiakos, Winemaker.
